We have inherited a place to live that is steeped in history with beautiful houses, flats and open spaces. The Amwell area is neighbourly, green and peaceful.
Not far away are bold new skyscrapers and towering blocks of offices.
All the houses in the Amwell area are beautiful and low-rise. Most were built in the 1820s, better known as the late‑Georgian period. The older blocks of flats were built to provide good, clean and healthy housing for working people before and after World War II.
The Society exists to ensure all these qualities are sustained and sustainable. To do this we commit to being a friendly and welcoming local group as well as vigilant, enthusiastic, and dedicated.
